Presently ZALMET has position of the leader in the comprehensive regeneration and the legalization of steel gas cylinders in Poland.
We offer the periodical inspection and legalization of gas cylinders if those are marked with sign π or ε. We can renew and make periodical inspection (legalization for next 10 years) of each European cylinder that is marked with sign “π” or “ε”.
Domestic cylinders manufactured until 2004 are prepared for testing with the participation of the Transport Technical Supervision, with which we cooperate both in terms of testing and training of personnel preparing the tanks for testing.
We can renew 90 000 cylinders per month. Presently we renew about 800 thousand cylinders per year for companies from Poland and also from other European countries.
In the 2014 we opened new automatic powder paint line for the gas cylinders, in the October 2015 this year new blasting machine – special for the gas cylinders. We have 2 blasting machines which takes off old paint from the cylinders and modern painting line what allows us regenerate 22000 of cylinders per week. If need this amount can be bigger if we start work in four-shift work system.
Regeneration process includes:
- unloading of the truck,
- outside visual inspection,
- degassing of the cylinder,
- screw of existing valve,
- washing the inside of the cylinders,
- pressure test,
- cleaning of the outside surface of gas cylinders in shot blasting machine,
- thread cleaning and calibration,
- painting by polyester paint UV-proof – color according to RAL,
- cleaning inside of gas cylinder – vacuum system,
- Logo printings- in accordance to requirements of Principal, the design will be sent with the order,
- screwing of the valve,
- pneumatic test of gas cylinder and valve – 100% of gas cylinders,
- loading of the truck.
